Public BBQ

Tailrace Park is a waterfront park located in Trevallyn, Tasmania. The park has plenty of amenities for kids, including a playground, swings, and climbing equipment. There are also open lawn areas for picnics, a large barbecue area, and public restrooms. The park has a boat ramp and a floating jetty that provides access to the river. The park has a walking trail along the river's edge, gym equipment, and a wooden maze for children. It is a great spot for exercise or relaxing and has wheelchair-friendly pathways. Dogs are permitted on a leash.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with West Tamar council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
